Don't charge to 100%, accubattery app alerts me, to unplug at 80%! To 70% charge is optimal! I cage my phone 5-6 times daily! Unsure what u want? 25% of your battery is going to screen ontime! Dimmer screen? Oh, battery performance brag awesome!

(1)Download accubattery! (2) be observant! (3) it sounds like optimization is turned off to an app or so! I deleted 1.1.1.1. warp VPN cause battery consumption! I still have unobtimized apps! I get 25 hours estimate screen off, 5 hours screen on! I charge my phone 5-6 times daily! Never charge a phone to 100%, for it'll rid 1 ma battery storage each time! 3600-3700 ma battery is 10% capacity gone within a year! If having issues with fast dash charge, are u using oneplus cable, are u using OnePlus charger? Amazon sells thick cables, but I haven't found quality near as OnePlus ones! If ur charging at 1-1.3 amps a second, it's either cable, or non oneplus Charging brick! At 1 amp an hour, it'll take take ur your phone 4 hours to full charge! Accubattery a few apps will inform charge of battery! U cannot use other chargers, not lightning speed ones! For they use voltage increases, oneplus uses 4 amps at 5 volts, thus 20 watts! Lightning uses like 9 volts, 2-3 Amps! OnePlus don't see that! Unsure if your charging brick or cable is the culprit? Fast discharging? R u sure? Frustration seems to rest in charging ability! Using a different charger, cord, average charge speed is 500 milliamps an hour while screen on, thus 6 hours! Ull need the brick and cord!

I'm facing the same plus the phone is showing that all apps are over heating the phone !!!!!

the reason I changes from Samsung to OnePlus is the update issues for Samsung to force u to go to the higher/newer model and I'll be disappointed if OnePlus has the same strategy...:(

Me also faced the same issue and i went through the oneplus

forums and i got nothing..then i searched youtube for

something and a guy told me to recalibrate the battery of my

phone because sometimes our phones get lost and dont know

what its percentage actually is...so i went through the process

by using an application--BATTERY CALIBRATION PRO

And it works well now! [e]1f44d[/e]

    Note:
this application will not be available in the playstore so you should search directly in google-- battery calibration pro apk.

    Do a Full Factory Reset

This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    System,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

Once done, use the phone for a couple of days without adding apps to check for issues with just the raw fresh OOS only.

Only introduce previous 3rd party apps gradually over 2 weeks to see if any particular app or apps drain the battery

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

The Irish Times and other media outlets are reporting the COVID tracker and all Android phones are affected. And its the service that Google developed behind the tracker that is the issue not the tracker itself.

Not a question that can be answered easily. Battery usage and screen on times are so dependent on the user.

I usually get somewhere between 4.5 - 6 hours screen on time, but it's not something I pay too much attention to to be honest. As long as I can go to work, go about my day and make it home in the night without needing to charge my phone I don't really care what screen on time I get.

Other users here get 9 or 10 hrs screen on time. Check @Caomhin posts, he has posted some great advice about battery optimization.
