Hello guys, I have OnePlus 3T, I didn't get update so, I downloaded the 9.0.3 zip and updated from updater by placing the zip in root directory. After update I wiped the cache and everything works smooth and fluid. But vibration motor is not working for calls and other incoming notifications in silent mode. Vibration for call is ON, but it's not working. But I'm getting haptic feedback when typing on Gboard.

Seems like this (9.0.3) so-called stable release is the worst.
People were complaining about parallel apps, now they have a long list to complain about...

Are you on silent or vibration mode?
slider settings changed, there is no more DND it was replaced with a silent mode. check if this is the case for you.

Does this bring back the DND on the slider? or keep it under software?

That was one of the major things i used daily for work and sleep.

No it does not, but I believe you can customise it.

    Update:

    no customisation available

you can customise at software level to decide when to have it activated, but slider options cannot at the time being.

Thought so, so exactly the same as it is now, sigh, wish i'd stayed on Oreo.

So much better than this crap.

This has made me reconsider getting the 7 Pro, that i was set on buying later this year. if i'm going to be locked to minimal customisation and having to use stupid setups, i may as well just go to samsung.

Although Oak OS is sounding good, maybe i'll pick that up once ift drops and move fully to Huawei if none of these uneessary changes get rectified to work properly.

Personally, I downgraded to Oreo - 9.0.3 is the worse than the CBs and first stable build.

I will until they come back with better version, otherwise I will keep Oreo.

I'm on Silent mode, which is where vibration should work right ? It is working is "Vibrate" mode, but not in silent. is it how it is normally ?

    Kx1707, Jun 20, 2019 :
That's totally normal, that's how it was designed under Pie... Silent mode has no vibrations. If need vibrations, set slider to vibrate mode.

Oh, okay. I have a habit of putting in Silent previously, so I thought something is wrong with device.

    Thanks for the info. [e]1f44d[/e]

Do you mean USB debugging, in developer options ? If so, no. It is off.

Thanks, this fixed performance and lag problems I was experiencing in day to day use!
Unfortunately the Re-Volt audio issues and severe lag spikes still persist. These lag spikes may be due to internal error handling >.< Looks like the application needs an update to work properly with Android 9...

Ah so you think they pushed a buggy update, to make people reconsider buying the Pro 7, thus ensuring they can meet demand? Damn those inscrutable Chinese.
