Flashing works fine in twrp. I previously wrote a step by step guide on how to flash the downloaded ota file in twrp without losing root. If you can't be bothered to search for it then I certainly can't, but if you follow my profile you should be able to find my previous posts.

This update is worst among all the updates I received till date on my op3t. Every body whoever has update the phone is having serious performance issues. Don't know when OnePlus is going to fix this.

    Hi all.
I flashed my OP3 with LOS 16, but I want to go back to OOS 9.0.3
Is an official image of OOS 9.0.3 for OP3?
I found nothing on Oneplus site...
If possible would prefer to flash directly OOS in 9.0.3 my OP3, I had little bugs with update from 9.0.2 to 9.0.3
    Good idea for you?
    Thx!

How to downgrade Android Pie community build to O…:

I can't say if it works or not because I haven't tried it. I saw it on this thread only.. Hope it works for you.

OP should fix this issue with unlocked bootloader. In the past, system upgrades were possible with unlocked bootloader. Come on, OP, you can do better than this.

Upgrade is perfectly possible with an unlocked bootloader. I unlocked my OP3 the day I bought it 3 years ago and I've never had to relock it. I went from a custom rom based on OOS, to official Oreo OOS, to Pie OOS Beta, and then to all three iterations of stable Pie, flashing from twrp every time and I haven't lost data once.

I've previously posted a guide to doing it, if you search you will find.

When I am connected to WiFi and I make a WhatsApp video call it doesn't connect. To make a video call I have to switch back to my mobile data.

anyone facing this issue, please let me know if there is any solution.

My WiFi is working absolutely fine.

    Hello,
I was reading a lot before updating my One Plus 3T and your comments almost made me giving up the whole idea.

Decided to try it, and after couple of hours I'm positively surprised. The phone is much smoother for me than before (but I have to admit I haven't done any wipes since January 2018), battery looks solid even after downloading 108 apps and the new UI is much cleaner, usable and fun to use.

So, what I've done to get this experience, apart of having a bit of luck?

I've done a factory reset before making an update. And one more after installing Pie. I know that for many of you this might sound as an overkill but I did the same with 7.0 to 8.0 and it is minimizing the risk of getting slow and buggy phone.

Hope this method could help someone.

If you do reset after pie then did you download and install pie again?
