Sorry to hear about that, even I am not satisfied with Oneplus. Let's hope they do something about that in future updates. Some people have suggested to go to service center.

Did you ask the service center representative about screen calibration issue?

Netflix Widevine downgraded to L3. Tried to check Netflix website, lo and behold, OnePlus 8 series are not on the list for HD and HDR10 support.

I have read about someone having same issue and it being solved through below steps

In the Google PlayStore: go to Settings > biometric authentication > enable, if disabled (enter password if needed)
Then reboot the phone once and check the Widevine Status > use DRM Info App from Google PlayStore (check some minutes or hours later, if it still shows the wrong status) > it should be L1 then
Netflix still SD? Clear cache and data of Netflix and uninstall updates, then reboot and update Netflix > after this check playback specification again
And also - if enabled - disable dark mode

Im using OnePlus 7 pro for 2 years, it had Widevine L1 support and i could watch hd and hdr netflix & amazon prime contents but today the widevine changed from L1 to L3. I tried clearing the cache and storage of both netflix and prime and also restarted my phone several time but it still shows Widevine L3.
