[UNIFIED] Widevine support is downgraded from L1 to L3 - No HD Streaming

    I own OnePlus 7T and new Nord 2,
    I am Not able to play HD/FHD/HDR videos on Amazon Prime Videos and Netflix - both on my OnePlus Nord 2 and OnePlus 7T,

    Regarding Nord 2 - Not playing HD/FHD/HDR out of the box, please address this issue OnePlus team.

    Regarding OnePlus 7T - Before the Android 11 update it was working fine, but now even my old OnePlus 7T is not streaming HD/FHD/HDR on Amazon Prime video & Netflix,
    -please address this issue OnePlus team.

    NOTE - I have a very High speed internet connection/WiFi, I am able to stream FHD/HD/HDR content on my Tablet, my TV ,my laptop, even other mobile phones my family owns,

    NOTE - I have tried reinstalling application, settings are set to play HIGHEST/BEST quality, still facing this issue!?

    Please OnePlus team help us out, my other users of OnePlus family are facing same issue! We hope you fix this with an update!

    After the recent update 11.0.2 Widevine L1 drop to L3, resulting no hd for Netflix. Updates patched to fixed issue not to create a new one. Please solve this issue.

    Hey there,
    I have replaced my old battery with new one. After doing that my Netflix app doesn't allowing me to stream in hd. But the other ott apps do work in hd, but the Netflix alone having this issue. I have tried all sort of things and couldn't make it to stream hd.
    Kindly help with this issue.

    The stickied comments at the top suggests some possible fixes but there's no guarantee that they'll work though. If nothing works contact support via the various ways on their website or visit a service center of you are able to.

    Why is Nord 2 not playing videos in HDR quality in Netflix and Amazon Prime even after having widevine L1 certification.

    Amazon prime is playing best just at 480p 😔

    When will this bug be fixed

    And this is a bad service cause we expect these simple features to be usable just after unboxing.

    They fixed it today 5th August / check all updates,
    Now Amazon Prime Videos is working with FHD / 1080p!!

    Yes fixed for Amazon now... HD playback is available.

    For Netflix, i don't have the HDR plan but still in playback specifications it still says HDR capabilities as None. Maybe someone who has a HDR plan can confirm.
