Apkmirror is the single most reputable website for APK files on the web.
It's maintained by one of the biggest mobile tech websites around, Android Police.
When you submit an APK, it's hand-checked for being the original APK which you'd also get from Play Store or your OEM. It takes hours to get your APK submitted, and they check for viruses as well.

If there's one website to trust on the web, it's apkmirror. But sure, I'm acting over smart.
If he wants, he can factory reset his phone and waste time for unnecessary data loss. Or he could install an APK from a reputable source.

    Have a good evening.

    Hi,
If you don't want to download it from the apkmirror, there is another way,
There is always a reserve folder in system where you find all the OnePlus apps, you have go to

    /system/reserve/OPFilemanager

And install the apk file from there,
Here is the screenshot, the first folder is for that.

you need another file manager such as solid explorer or any other available in play store just for this purpose.
    Visit the location /system/reserve/OPFilemanager
But i suggest you download it from Apkmiror. its 100% safe and authentic.

No need to be hostile if you don't know about ApkMirror.
Its perfectly safe to install an app from them. And just to inform you, every app comes with a special signature from OnePlus, if they somehow tamper with it and it doesn't match with OnePlus's signature, it will simply fail to install. So no real harm is done.

download FX File Explore from play store for free.
click on the '/(system) ' then
    click on system folder then
    click on Reserve folder.

After your work done, uninstall the FX File Explore if you want...
