Unlock Token Request for TMobile - Bootloader Unlock May 3, 2020 via OnePlus 8 T-Mobile

    The unlock request .bin page has not been updated to include the OnePlus 8. I also noticed that the firmware page hasn't been updated to include the OnePlus 8 series. Also OnePlus makes you want 7 or more days to give you the unlock bin file, very disappointing.

    Does anyone know how long it typically takes for the unlock page to get updated ?

    It has almost been a week with no update, no information, support ignoring emails about this etc... Oneplus doesn't want us to unlock the bootloader. I don't know what information they're sniffing out of us to keep us under lock-down with their history of privacy.

    Contacted oneplus about the bootloader, and they are not helpful. Anyone knows when their page is going to be updated?

    I called them requesting assistance after my first OnePlus 8 screen started flickering. I was asking about a bootloader unlock and was told to wait for an email. it never came. then I got a replacement, they told me the same thing and here I am.

    Give them some time, hopefully they're able to help soon. I went back to the 7 pro after a display problem. If I get any emails I'll update you.

    Did a chat with them. Page hasn't been updated yet. They had nothing helpful to say except they'll pass that on to the team. I got a case number.

    I'd encourage anyone who's contacting them to get their reference number so it won't go undocumented.

    Okay so long time lurker first time posting. I have been searching online for about a month now but I am totally new to rooting and such. I have a 7t tmobile version that I just flashed to an international rom. I have never done anything like this before and learning as I go. Now I realize that since I have the bootloader unlocked, Netflix and other app do not work due to the safetynet(?). What risk do I run if I lock the bootloader again so I can have all the benefits of a oneplus device without the tmobile junk. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

    I applied for an unlock token exactly a week ago. I still have gotten no token or any sort of response. This is such bullshit. I bought a 6T T-mob version outright. It's fully paid for. It's my device. Everybody in the android ROM community raves about this company being the new Nexus devices in terms of freedom to use them as we see fit, but this is turning out to be utter lies! My return window is quickly closing. As far as I can tell the hardware and build quality are great. Just these assholes won't let me run the software I want (GOOGLE FREE). I feel scammed.

    Oh I finally got the token minutes ago. Ridiculous delay. Most vendors it's instant -- give them IMEI, get token.
