Hi guys. I've been lucky owner of OnePlusOne since last year, but i I haven't updated my phone since i got it (i'm having android 4.4.4 and cyanogenmodXNPH38R) I'm not an advanced user and I've heard that there are some bugs in the next versions (for example brick loop or never ending Audio FX FC error), that make the phone useless. So i wonder whether i should stay with my current stabile version or update the phone?

44S and 50Q are also stable, and imho better than 38R.
But it's your own decision if you update or not

If you are going to upgrade stay at KitKat and I wouldnt go beyond 44S which I felt was the best and least error prone version.

You might as well leave it until M arrives if your not having any issues.
That will give you loads of time to expand your knowledge on such matters;)

I did not have any issues with the updates so far. But if you are happy with your phone now, then don't update. Cheers!

Is 44S better than 25R? Just curious.

I thought it was, but either is better than Lollipop. I'm thinking of rooting my phone and going back to 44S, it's where I had the best battery life.

Stay at Kit Kat, you are not going to be doing advanced customizing etc. If you are happy with how your phone is running, stay where you are. Definitely do not got to the recent COS12.1, Android 5.1.1 update.

Thanks for that info. I went backwards to 25R from 38. 25R is great. I guess i should try 44s
