Update problem HELP ME...

    phone received 10.3.1 update i download and i install.. after phone swiched off.. oneplus logo spinning only.. then i enter recovery mode.. and recover mode also not work.. please help me i have important folder im my phone pls help me

    press and hold power and volume up.
    then release when phone vibrates.
    your phone will restart as normal without installing update.

    Please contact OnePlus support by chat/call through the website.

    Visit the nearest Service Center, it will be quickest and best option. I hope you know that this is a user-based community forum and not just support.

    sorry to hear that you need to resort to hard reset. that's a painful way to make things work. nvr the intention adding salt to the wound.

    everyone should make it a practice/habit to backup before any update no matter how little. these are codes, no one knows how great this will improve or how badly this will screw your device.

    I did a backup via OP switch, then copy the opbackup folder to external drive. do a copy folder for all important document such as copy picture and document folder to external drive.

    should nightmare like this happen, least you should easily restore and your file still in good place.

    even without doing any update, these backup should still be practice and done periodically.
