    Why cutting off?
    It is still following the old schedule and gets updates till Q3 22

    Apple controls the hardware and all of the code, makes it easier. Up until recently one of the biggest issues was the support of Google and Qualcomm.

    I would imagine the integration wouldn't have too much of an effect on OOS11, so I think it should come around August-September. (The Open Beta, that is)
    Still, you never know.

    Because there's very little difference between the 7T Pro and 8 Pro yet the 8 Pro now gets an extra year of updates whilst the 7T Pro gets excluded. Obviously, the 7 Pro and 7T Pro are being cut loose already. Open Betas have ended so it is clear already that our devices are already worthless as far as OnePlus is concerned.

    So many nonsense fan boys on this forum. This means oxygen OS dies, it will become a Color OS skin. OnePlus is losing everything that made them an interesting and innovative young brand, that's why its founder left to start something else. OnePlus is just Oppo going forward. If you're happy with that then I don't get why you ever bought OnePlus to begin with

    Nope bro, your last update will be A13 if u have luck... You started at A10 (if im not mistaken), so A13 will be the last one... If nothing will be changed... Eg. OP7T Pro got just only ONE big (buggy) update and they promised 3 updates too

    @Gary C. Why 7t no 3 android updates ...
    We've been stuck on this laggy OOS 11 since first update to 7t and yet you've abandoned us ....OnePlus 7 had android 9 on launch and upgraded to OOS 10 later which was better
    ...do consider 7t and 7 series for another year of upgrade ...or else most 7 and 7t users won't upgrade to newer OnePlus devices after this step motherly treatment

    When will there be an update to fix the connectivity issues on the Nord N100? I just bought this phone and I'm regretting it. It drops every call I make and it can't stay connected to even a strong WIFI signal.

    When we buy a premium device, I think it is fair to expect a premium service. Anyone with a 7T Pro knows how long we had to wait for OOS11 to get to us. Whilst we waited, OnePlus were busy launching budget devices. We were forgotten. I had to join the Beta program but should not have needed to. The service we got never matched the quality of the device or the cost of it. That's why I'm annoyed. But, it makes more sense now. The OnePlus 7T Pro was just a marketing experiment. So, having been messed around, I'll be looking at a Samsung Ultra device next time which is a shame. 😔

    Spot on mate, spot on. We were just used to shit out money, big money actually (7TPro McLaren here) and then nothing but problems and false promises as of the first ever update. Next one will also be a Sammy again here, never even should have considered 1+

    @Bobby63 You're going to have to comment a lot on all disappointed and abandoned 7-series users mate ... good luck. We as customers hope you will read all 7 series posts and see that we're not weening without reason. Not normal what 1+ did to the 7 series, even Mi is giving better service and i can know as the 2 other members of my family have a Mi device.

    Will bootloaders continue to be able to be unlocked as well? Some OPPO devices have permanently locked bootloaders and I'm really hoping OnePlus won't follow suit.
