I need immense help! I have a friend's bricked Oneplus 2. It appears in fastboot, but no longer how many i use fastboot oem unlock it stays locked. In device manager, it appears as Android Device using Color OS drivers, not as qhusb. I do not know what to do, as these methods do not work because the devices is not qhusb. Any help?

I have a Oneplus 2 that is basically stuck in Fastboot and is locked. I can't unlock it no matter what I try. Flashing unlock, oem unlock.... can't sideload or flash or push anything. Need help. Thanks.

    Hello!

My phone is softbrick. I have tried all the steps of this guide like a million times but my phone is still on a bootloop. Never been rooted or anything, just one day started to loop infinitely.

I can use adb sideload to get the room into the phone but the best scenario I have is booting to the welcome screen for a few seconds and reboot starts again.

If anyone could help me out or point me to reference to recover my old friend op2, It'll be greatly appreciated.

If a device loops out of the blue (no root or modifications) and if ALL steps to revive the device constantly fail it's very very likely a hardware issue, I don't think there's anything you can do to fix it at this point...

Thanks a ton Naman Bhalla for sharing this knowledge.

Method 3 worked for me and I was able to revive my One Plus 2 which got bricked after doing a lot of R&D.
    Thanks again.

Hi all, I am facing issues with my OP2. The screen is getting stuck at 1+ logo after power on & I couldn't able to get into recovery, though fastboot mode is accessible. I tried commands through fastboot mode like fastboot continue to get out of bootloader, but seems it is not working. USB debugging mode was not enabled by me, that's why I couldn't able to access memory through USB too. Can anybody guide me what should I do fix this issue.

Take it to OnePlus service center. they'll fix it for you. I had the same issue and I got it fixed from the OP service center.

I went to the OP service center in my city a month back, but they mentioned it to be some motherboard issue and it needs to be replaced which was costing me around 5k. But I didn't rely on them as I was not given proper justification for the issue. That's I am looking for ways by myself to fix this issue.

Just same answer I was told too, but I made sure they checked for software once before removing any parts in my OP2.
They checked once and my OP2 was Hardbricked they solved it in 25mins and installed the os but my bootloader was again locked. Phone is working 100% fine and fast now.

You might have to just insist on telling them it's a software problem and ask them to give it a try and make sure they do it. it'll be fine.

Ohk. But I still, wanted to know if there is any other way to fix it instead of going to service centre again.??

I don't think so bro, if USB driver's are not working you won't be able to go to fastboot also.

I got into a very difficult situation after trying to revert my OnePlus2 to original stock state.

    right now:
the main issue is that I'm unable to use "Method 3" from this thread as the recovery tool is giving an error in the beginning of process:

    upload_2019-7-27_4-6-36.png

the error message actually offers to restart the phone and retry, but ofcourse this don't help.
I'm on Windows10 Pro. Phone is able to boot (via fastboot continue) into OxygenOS 3.6.1.

how can I solve this "sahara" problem?

Method 3 did work to certain extent. I can get into recovery and adb OTA but when the device reboots, its stuck onto OP logo. My Bootloader is locked as well. Thanks in advance @Naman Bhalla

@Naman Bhalla, @aaron.hossain75 or other superstar helpers that might be watching after so long..

On Thursday, after no updates (system, app or otherwise) or playing with any system at all.. My OPT died and now bootloops.

I've run through all 4 the methods pinned at the beginning, including the extra steps, at least once each and through a little work managed to get to the green step.

    No joy :/

I did take the route of saving the data.. Any suggestions before biting the bullet and running a data losing version?

I've submitted a ticket through the technicians, but no idea if they'll be of any help..

Any suggestions? Am installing TeamViewer as I type..

    Thanks!
