    Oneplus is still missing the point.
    Why I bought OnePlus was because it was called a smart choice. A phone that was original, affordable and top notch specs wise.
    Now it will be called a copy of iPhone X.

    Just do what apple has started to do and give LG lots of money for OLED screens.

    LCD does and always will look awful in comparison to OLEDs and I'm pretty sure most dedicated One Plus customers don't mind a little waiting time for our phones if you're using more superior screens.

    I just bought oneplus 5t knowing oneplus 6 is just around the corner. you know why? Even though I like oneplus, No matter what the reason is I hate notch.
    So long as oneplus is putting notch on screen, I am planning to change to nokia or samsung.
    I really hope you found a solution in oneplus 6t to remove that freaking notch.

    I was going to do the same thing but couldn't bring myself to buying an old phone when new phones are coming out with better specs. Ive ended up getting the Samsung Galaxy s9 plus and can honestly say the phone is amazing. No notch and the screen is fantastic. You can also get a proper tempered glass screen protector for it which is a bonus. I'll be tracking the progress of oneplus because I'm still a fan just waiting for them to release a phone with great specs and no notch.

    Consistency, that's what is all about notch haters.They rapidly criticised the iPhone looks for being merely an iPhone and now backpedaling on your own statements/opinions it doesn't look good.
    I wish two notches,this will upset even more the haters.

    The truth is if NOTCH is generally not acceptable OP has to go back to the original design people are used to,this is no-brainer. I personally like the Notch for a change. ;)
