Bigger screen (with a tiny notch), bigger battery, fingerprint on the screen. That's it.

dont upgrade, initial reviews suggest that changing the stock wallpaper will further slow the under display fingerprint.
No led, slower fp, no jack, this mobile is not for past op users its designed for the fancy folks of U.S who are just as smart as their president.
As a OnePlus 5 owner i am forced to explore alternatives. i will heavily miss oxygen os though.
edit- oneplus seems to have pushed some software ota which addresses this fingerprint issue, its better now.

The most important thing is that it's not worth it if you can't find the pros by yourself. It's just throwing out the money :)

I'm aware of the upgrades. I know it's an individual thing but I can't decide whether an upgrade is worth it.

I'm not bothered about an in display fingerprint sensor. In fact I much prefer it on the back. Though I do find myself using face unlock more and more.

I'm interested in the screen, the bigger battery (Though I barely go below 50% on the 5t) & a better camera. Question is, are those upgrades significant enough & worth what ever extra it will cost me after selling my OP 5t?

when I was in the que for pop in event where I bought my op6t next to me was a guy who had op5t and changed for 6t. I can only recommend 6t to you because is great phone. but if you don't mind about bigger notch fingerprint scanner and weaker batter go for 6.

Care to share a source for that? Because I've seen multiple reviews and none mentioned it.

Especially considering the wallpaper plays no role in unlocking the device most of the times, since the screen is all black.

    I have a super fast OP5T and it's still a good phone
Whilst the OP6T is a great phone and if you do need to upgrade its a bargain compared to other companies flagships I'd rather save my £500 till the OP7 or OP7T as the 5T is good enough to last another year

I have no choice but to stay with the 5t because of no jack in the 6t. I can't believe it's not a bigger deal breaker for other people.

The most important thing is, there is no need to buy a new phone every year.. 6t is not that much better than your current device ;)
