    Hey guys,

my "USB Tethering" doesn't work. Every time I enable it, my laptop stays quiet, but everitime the time I pull the USB-Plug out of the computer, it asks after this disconnect (tf!?) about connecting to the network for about a second.
    Wireless Hotspot works perfect.
I use Windows on my laptop and the new official Nougat update on my OPO3t. I usually know how to "USB-Tether" because I did that almost every day on my old Samsung GS5.

    Any suggestions?
    Thank you!

I have a similar problem. I'm not able to turn my USB tethering on, nor would it let me connect to my laptop. There are no notifications that pop up when I connect my phone to my laptop. This problem only started to happen after I updated my phone, it used to work fine before.

The drivers for the usb tether in windows 10 by default are wrong. Go to device manager and under network devices find the one with something like RNDIS and select to upgrade the drivers with "Have Disk" and then select to search unsigned drivers. Go to Microsoft and find the one with RNDIS 6 Adapter and have it use the new drivers.

    Hi guys,

I looked at this solution but 2 issues arise, none of my network devices appear to use that RNDIS driver and finding the replacement on MS support website is impossible.
