    Just signed up to chime in with a sucess. I had a loose connection on a OP5t (love it). Had it around two years but the connection was going loose for the last year. I tried the needle trick and it didn't work. Eventually with a new sexy car it needs a cable connection for Android Auto so I went back and tried again. Now with more vigor, before I was afraid I would break something, now I was out for war. After scraping and scratching this....huge *** piece of bread (I hope) covered in lint popped out.

    It was like popping a zit if that's your bag. Satisfying and gross.

    Now the connection is totally secure, I even tested it out by hanging it upside down.

    TLDR: You need to *really* get in their with the needle, it won't break, and even though it might look smooth and empty there might just be a hugh AF piece of bread there.
