Hi all! Previously, Oneplus smartphones had a notification indicator. In the latest models it is not. The absence of this function worsens the experience of using a smartphone. I beg you to draw the attention of Oneplus and Oxygen OS employees to this function and add the ability to use "horizon light" as a notification indicator in oxygen os. I mean let this function work cyclically, not once during the receipt of a notification.

I fully support the author of the topic!
One could add the function of turning on the Ambient Display cyclically (once every 15/20/30/60 seconds), in the case of unread notifications, or integrate the same functionality into Horizon Light.
Something similar was implemented by the XJIOP developer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.xjiop.oxygenaodmod&hl=en), but the application has limitations.
I would like such functionality (at least the simplest) in Oxygen OS by default, I think it will be in demand on all OnePlus models after 6 models (6T / 7/7 Pro / 7T / 7T Pro / and future models).
Support this topic with your comment if you would be interested!

Great idea! I think many people want to have this on their phone. This is much more convenient than flashing a screen once.

I support it, after owning other devices with a notification indicator, this function on OnePlus is very lacking

You are posting on a user forum. You are not going to get a response from OnePlus people here.
you can put a suggestion direct to OnePlus via Feedback feature in the OnePlus Community app (tap the red + button and select Feedback).

just upgraded from OnePlus 6 to 7pro and yes i really do miss that notification LED. it's really important. it's a no brainer that the horizon light should take over this function.

You can use notify buddy to emulate the notification led.
