Some are saying that you can damage the battery by using the phone for intensive tasks while its charging.

is this a myth or is it truth?

    Thanks @treighnof it worked xD

Personally I think that the only phone that has issues with being used while charging is Samsung. After all they seem to be the only ones that catch fire mysteriously.

What i mean by "Damage" is miscalibration.
I've had this experience with my laptop
When I first bought it, it would last through about 4-5 hours of video playback.
Once I started using it alot more at home with the power plugged in and battery still installed for about 3 months (desktop broke)
I noticed that I only get about 3 hours of video playback

Well if you make it produce a lot of heat, then yes it can damage the battery quicker. Heat is a batteries number one enemy.

Don't let it run too hot tough.
It will weaken or demage the processor.
It doesn't really matter much it will only take a little longer to charger example: instead of the phone charging 10 watts it gets 8 and uses the other 2 to keep the phone running.

I wanted to post a similiar thread today.

And don't do it too often.
Keeping your phone in the charger too long can demage the Battery.

Don't think it really can damage anything, it will charge a lot slower and probably warm up a little quicker.

Did so, no problems at all. Sure, the phone gets a little bit hot doing intensive tasks while charging. But this is normal IMHO.
