Don't know where to ask but right now my phone won't load videos and there's this strange icon beside my WiFi icon on the tip right corner, can anyone explain to me what it is and how to fix my problem? Rebooting and restarting isn't fixing it

As I answered before they probably can't due to licencing issues.
As @sreejeshnv said, probably for stability. Other reason can be battery life.
I'll find you the explanation when I can. Is somewhere on Reddit.
My guess is that they didn't make any claims about it because the phone needs to have IPXX certification so that they can say such things. Phones are usually designed in such a way that a bit of rain won't mess them.

This is a great post/thread. Really impressive work here and I can't even imagine the amount of time you've put in. Someone from HK mentioned in a later post about prices just gone up in HK. I have yet to check that but am the least surprised given the Chinese yuan (China's currency) was devalued by a few percent this past week, OP needs to bump up the prices to cover the higher costs they pay for all the components that they need to buy overseas (South Korea, Japan, U.S., and so on) to assemble the devices in China. I actually speculated the currency depreciation was a key factor (at least one of the factors) OP decided to cut back and slow the roll out of invites - as they need to redo all the calculations on breakeven points. Hope that now they have done the repricing, the roll out of invites will pick up real soooooooooon.....

By the way, I don't seem to see any numbers on how long a full charge can last. I know it varies a lot depending on how one uses the phone. But just out of your own experience, does a bigger battery and the 'stated' optimization on software helps extend the battery, say over the OPO?

Would greatly appreciate the info on battery life......thanks in advance.

Believe it or not, I still don't have one.

As soon as the first global reviews show up, I'll try to put an average of all of them.

As for SEA pricing, I think it's better to wait until the phone is actually available to buy.

Time for an edit I think. @dsmonteiro ! The quad core A53 is clocked to be 1.5GHz!

Each and every specs are good but the main problem is that it lacks NFC which is very important to me for hacking

    Thanks for an excellent resource!

    What does this mean exactly?

The length of time they will manufacture OP2?
How long they will support the product with spares?
How long the phone is expected to last?
How long before being superseded by a superior model?

NB I tried searching the referred twit stream but found nowt
