    Hi all

I did the OTA update this morning and now my phone wont start - it just stays on the reboot screen with the symbol going round and round for over 20 mins. I have not rooted my phone. Any suggestions? I have rebooted manually but problem continues. Cheers.

    Boot loop!
    Solution:
Go to recovery and wipe Dalvik cache and then reboot.

Volume down and Powe button. Do that when the phone is completely off and it will boot into recovery

    Is your phone rooted?

Dalvik Cache is the cache storage meant separately for certain android apps!!

Your bootloop is due to an app that can not be optimized properly. So try wiping data and cache if you don't mind losing your photos and all that

Do as @Marijuanainc described and you will boot into recovery.
However, you will not find dalvik cache, it's not available in Lollipop.
Jus clear cache and it should boot.

    That's weird.

Again, as @Marijuanainc said, if you clear data as well you will loose alla your apps data, game progress, texts, etc but you will not loose your pictures, videos, whatsapp chat, etc.

It's a bit different, read above.

This DOES NOT involve customer service. Not yet, at least :D

Will give it a go...must admit I am getting pretty frustrated with my OPT and Oxygen experience - had lots of problems. Looked forward to a basic update to fix FB and now no phone...waiting for an important call from a ill relative and phone not working...and to top it off the SAMSUNG post yesterday made me feel like the company is turning into a laughing stock...
