?

If those of you that have or are considering buying a OPX, is this a deal breaker?

wtf, you can buy OPT easy with the money u make in US, when u win 4/7€ for hour in europe (some countrys) u win 15$ for hour, maybe they just wanted to have bigger sells in EU and IN etc.. I would they give US a cheaper option when they can buy OPT..

This statement also does not seem right. I don't think you have a fair evaluation of our economy.

    Very interesting...

The OnePlus X does not support 700MHz frequency (also known as LTE Band 17) used on AT&T and T-Mobile. I'll be honest, this is sad since it's a gorgeous phone. If they don't support LTE Band 17, then they are pretty much saying goodby to the US market.

    quote:
"OnePlus confirmed to me that the X is not compatible with AT&T's Band 17 or T-Mobile's Band 12, and it says there are no plans to add support for them in the future, via a hardware tweak or software update. It's not clear to me why this decision was made, but omitting support for the most popular LTE frequency on the largest carrier the phone can work on boggles the mind."

I'm not saying everyone could afford a opt, but I know you make more money than most europeans and even phones are more expensive in EU than US.. If they see that they are not selling so many OPT in EU like in US..

LOL! I like that. Oneplus cut corners in the wrong areas, while a primary market of 3,000,000,000 people couldn't care less about band 12 :D.

I agree that does seem like a strange decision to not support big U.S. carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, but there are still other carriers such as Verizon and sprint that work relatively well in U.S. I myself still plan to get a OPX with Verizon in U.S.

Hmm..... education, healthcare, cars, etc cost more here than is many places in Europe. I am already at $140,000 student debt and that is JUST 2 YEARS. I still got about $180,000 more to go.... oh and this is not including interest and fees. Here in the US, there are exams for everything. Even to renovate certain aspects of your property. These exams cost money. My next exam is a school exam and cost $850. Heck imagine that... 1 exam can buy you 2 OP2..... Truly unlimited 4g Data cost about $80/month (maybe less if you are lucky or are on a promo).... Home internet cost ~ $40-$80 a month (Google fiber is only in the middle of no-where).... God forbid you need an MRI without insurance..... oh yeah and meds here are outrageous.... So yeah.....

I don't think you will have to look very hard because it won't work on VZ. Gotta switch to T-Mobile or ATT man.

Certain aspects..heheh. Practically anything you want to modify, be prepared to pay for licensing and inspection. In my undergraduate days, tuition was 20k per year and I thought they were trying to get me to take up the short-skirt and high heels trade to be able to afford it. Twenty years later fees had more than tripled. My second son will be repaying student loans for the foreseeable future. Persuaded the youngest to do two years of CC before transferring but that hardly saved anything. Healthcare costs were just....words fail me... Two years of medical costs for my daughter before she died just about bankrupted me, even with insurance. Some of these guys just don't know how good they have it.
