i fixed mine by cleaning.
mine phone is 3 years old . if yours newer go to the service center
The apparently is no fix for it. I've cleaned and reset and tried other roms and always have the same issue pretty shitty that OnePlus never came up with a fix for it
How are you cleaning it as mine always works after a good clean?
I had the same issue.
Used a toothbrush to clean it... and it's as new, perfect sound.
I've opened mine and clean the earpiece it was full with dust.
Everything is ok now.
I had same issue for last one week. After uninstalling a recently installed app the problem solved and i can hear perfectly now.
What app you uninstalled?
If you fixed it, please share the info so anyone else can fix it too. if not its just bragging.
first thing Upgrade the OS to latest version
This blue tac thing worked super well for me. I know I'm a little late to the party, but I took some close-ups of the sticky tac/clay stuff I had that worked super well for me. The little brown spots are dust. I also went ahead and did both mics, the speaker on the bottom, the charge port, and the headphone port while I was at it. You have to be quick so nothing gets stuck. This made all the difference.
THANK YOU djgas!
Not for the oneplus 3t but for oneplus one. I had similair issue that i could not hear people over the speakers. I opened up my phone and noticed that if i applied pressure (pressing motherboard towards the screen of the phone) the sound went back to normal. I unscrewed and rescrewed the one screw I had holding the motherboard in place. (yes i know, only 1, i've opened it up many times, also random turkish guy who soldered something never put the others back). Now my sound is back to normal.
Thought I'd share this for people also having this problem.
The blue tac solution worked in my own case with great results
Hi! do you think that "Patafix" would be good as well?
i had the same issue. Turns out, you just need to clean the speaker with alcohol swab for 3-4 days and it will be fine.
Had the same problem. First clean your earpiece with a soft toothbrush. Then spray it down with compressed air. Then in my case I placed the phone in a sealed Ziploc bag with a jar of damp rid (beads that suck moisture out of air). Worked just fine after that.
I am facing same issue... Very low call volume.. Can hardly hear the other person speak on the other side...
