i am having a problem with a ad bar kind of thing which keeps on coming every now and then on my screen. It stays for a few seconds then vanishes on it own.If i click on the add then it redirects to a url called www.googleadservices.com/... which ultimately redirects to the advertisers page. The ad bar also has a link to optout, but it takes me to a page www.tracker.tpc.re/optut/mobile/.... which is not available. Can anyone help?

In the end there's really no point, your just going to drain your battery searching for a virus you'll probably never get.

I have my antivirus mainly because it INCREASES performance. I'm running 360 Security, a popular Android security app with a 99.9% detection rate. It's made by a Chinese cyber security company (which is fitting since OnePlus is a Chinese company). It comes with a bunch of device optimizers such as app optimization, CPU cooldown, startup managers, junk file and cache cleaner, etc (that's how it speeds up my phone). It works great for me, my battery life hadn't dropped since. I think it's one of the top Google Play apps, try it out.

Hi, I'm having the same issue.
I never saw this kind of virus so far.
The banner ad pop on the top of ANY application or interface. (unbelievable)
NO apps have been installed in this week, however the device is allowed to install apps from 3rd party sources.
I haven't find the app in the settings>apps>running
No virus scans found it so far.
The malware runs Adsense ads, and in the opt out section there is www.tracker.tpc.re url

    Pls help

Old post. Use ESET. Rated the best AV-Scanner.

I don't feel so, would hog resources and drain battery, if in doubt connect to lap and scan using its AV, Anti malware.

There was also a flashlight app that was selling your location details to the Chinese, not sure if that's been pulled yet but itwas still up a good few months after it was 1st found out.
