Prefiero esperar a la estable "oficial", pero mientras puedo mirar a las personas que instalen Oxygen Os "no oficial". Quiero mi movil vivo, no muerto.

It was an alpha version of Oxygen before and you could try it. You just now decide to remember this? :) However soon we 'll have a stable Oxygen OS version. I am using CM12 since January and works very well.

So a little bit patient only good can offer you. Besides we are speaking about an update. Not something that will change your phone to the day from the night ;)

I think both yes and no. I think OxygenOS should come out as stable at first release. As a "beacon" if you will. If the nightlies wouldn't be perfect a lot of users would judge it by that.

    No.

OP aren't creating OxygenOS as a mod ROM to be flashed like PA or CM (although we will be able to if we want it on our OPOs), it's a stand alone OS that will be shipped as the default ROM in new OnePlus products, therefore it needs to be rock solid. Releases and OTAs should be tested fully in house before release.

Of course, if it's made open source, any number of spikes can be MODded and they should have nightlies if necessary.

they are lying... Just like cyanogen has cyanogen Inc to release official versions and cyanogenmod for unofficial OnePlus can do something like that too and release nightles.

You have to be certified if you want to release OTAs and be able to support multiple languages more easily.

CM nightlies weren't OTAs. (Until later)

I completely agree with you. And that's why I'm wondering so much of negativity floating around when we have alternatives for now and there is no harm in waiting.... We should let them do things in peace so that we get the best out of them... And I'm sure, that's what they have been/are working on...

Everyone keeps on about getting it certified by Google but nobody is saying how long this process takes? 1 month, 2 months or 1 year?
