I'd love to beta test it... Helping out both OnePlus and the community... Where's the downside to that :)

After Oxygenos 1.0 that has a lot of bugs and issues, I think a beta for the Version 2.0 it is required!!!
Above all if Oneplus Two will have this ROM and plus team would use Oxygen for the Oneplus future

It can be great to make Oxygen OS open source to solve a lot of bugs !
Open beta is a good idea, but Open source is a better :)

I like testing stuff. It makes me feel like I'm part of something, like I have a purpose.

    Please, pretty please @Helen

Give it about 2-3 weeks after OP2 comes out and start hawkeyeing the XDA development forums. Who is with me on that one: Oxygen 2.0 WILL be ported on xda within 3-4 weeks of the OP2 release by a 17 year old genius. They have ported hydrogen OS and Color OS no problem. The only issue is part of the ROMis in chinese. But Oxygen OS 2.0 will be at the language of your liking

I would do it if it was MultiROM compatible. I want to be able to reboot back to Temasek at the first.sign of trouble.

I feel like if they did, they have the perfect fan-base. The forums can have a topic dedicated to bug reports on Oxygen OS. ;)

i dont think you understood my statement. XDA devs have been quicker than quick bringing us updates. Android 5.1.1 was available through nightlies onXDA within days of official release. Anyone griping about slow updates should go on XDA. You have choices. So...

When oxygen os 2.0 is officially released, i can see it being ported to OPO within a few weeks. Waiting for Oneplus to update is a little futile. The history tells us,but i hope im proven wrong one of these days

I don't think that devs can port it. It is all closed source, so only oneplus has access to it.

Im sorry, i think the fan base wouldnt help on any development. In fact, we are part of the problem. Have you been on these forums? Have you read the comments? I am sorry, OPO fanbase (judging from the Oneplus forums) is not smart enough to carry on beta development and feedback

Actually I have been on the forums much longer than you have ;) We have some intelligent people on the forums, and plenty of people who would like to beta test. So no, I disagree with you saying the Oneplus group would be unable to help out with the OS ;)

I wouldn't say Beta testing sucks, just I would wait until it's farther along so I could confidentially use it on my main device.
    It sucks at first, usually.

They don't care about OPO development anymore. Nothing to see here. Move along...
