Want the oneplus phone to get manufactured in INDIA via OnePlus 6

    This is just a start and a way to tell oneplus to manufacture oneplus upcoming devices in INDIA. And i m definitely sure every indian would want the same form oneplus.... please promote this thread get oneplus attraction on this topic. Jai hind

    After the the dispute between India and china. And for my country i want to buy products which is manufactured in my country, even if not manufactured atleast i want to see a made in INDIA tag on the box. No grudges oneplus, but anything for my country

    Parts are still made mostly in China, only assembled in India to get the price down...

    Ya i know that parts are assembled in India but does not mean it's manufactured in India manufacturing in India means every component of that phoneis made in India and made in India tag means 80% or 75% of parts are made in India

    Don't think OnePlus is interested in spending millions and millions of dollars to move the whole manufacturing to India... I would say if this political thing is such a big thing, there are other OEM's on the market that isn't made in China

    Manufacturing all parts in India in near impossible. The infrastructure and facilities that are required to make that possible does not exist and even if companies start working on it now, it will take several years before you can see a product completely built, from scratch, in India.

    I do understand your sentiments but these things are easier said than done.

    Samsung yes, but OnePlus can't use Samsung factory... So they have to build their own infrastructure
