I'd also like to see PD at some point with fast charging alongside it. But as long as we keep making progress with faster and faster charging options which remain safe, then I'm happy. Open standards are difficult to see when each company wants to sell their own accessories and that of their business model

    New name is super exciting.

And i guess no one refuses a faster battery charge!
    Amazing as always OnePlus!

I would like to see the warp charge in next models, maybe with a 5g phone.

Still thinking if « Warp Charge » is a name to keep for standard phones or it is just better to keep the classical name that we know already and leave warp charge for special editions.

But i'm just talking about the name itself. Not about the 30W of power. I would like to see 30W brick in next models.

In the end, it would be great to have the warp charger in the shop! Colors are amazing!

New owner and this thing is a beast at charging. I wonder if OnePlus will create a wireless charging case to support its older devices when it implements this technology in its upcoming OnePlus model. It would be really nice for my family 3 of whom who already own OnePlus and one planning to get the next model.

May be this tech was introduced later...or they specially saved it for McLaren edition just to relate it with speed..

The latter is true. But it sorta hurts the people who bought the top end variant to find that there was a much better variant released just a month later.

Hi... Any idea about A Warp Car Charger for the McLaren 6T instead of the Dash Car Charger? Is that soon to be expected or unlikely to be created at this point in time?

Nice work, but I still cannot understand how your tech works. How can you push more currect to a battery, without changing its internal resistance?

I'm afraid we'll have to wait for the OnePlus 7 to find out , however my guess would be yes .

Just a simple question, how come this technology was only developed for McLaren but not for oneplus 6t which was in the market just a month ago??

What can we take away from this?

There was a law suit against OnePlus and they can no longer call their fast charging "Dash" because it is patent infringement.
