And wireless charger costs another $500. Well done Apple Copier

If they wanted to they could've done this and launched the 7 series phones with Wireless charging. But no they were adamant for WC and IP rating.

Although it's just a leak, might help in giving idea of design. Seems Cool in White colour.

I was led to believe by previous comments on this forum QI was a gimmick.

I guess that will jot be the case any longer.

    I think it's great news @Evan Z.

The truth is that the use of a wireless charger, with the fast charge that we currently have, I do not know if I would use it a lot, but it has been a highly requested feature. With its coming to light, it responds to so many requests made by the Community and for this I congratulate you.

    Great job ;):)

This is the first time I'm actually certain I'll buy a wireless charger. Even when having had a phone with wireless charging before I never feelt like buying one

    Hi @Evan Z.

Thanks for sharing these amazing news with us. It is finally time for the OnePlus flagships to get the wireless charging. I remember in the past when I asked Pete when you are going to provide us a wireless charging and he gave me a wise answer "When it will be fast enough for charging". So now I can see that we have the same 30W wired charging in the wireless charging, that is a bright step for the future of the OnePlus devices. Can't wait to experience this!

While it is a good thing that wireless charging is FINALLY included, this whole 30-watt proprietary tech just sounds like an expensive redundancy, especially when you consider how much the OnePlus charger will cost. Hopefully the R&D of this didn't add too much to the final cost either since it is one of those unnecessary features that was probably expensive to develop. I used wireless charging for convenience in topping up without having to plug the phone in, not for speed.

This also does not make up for that wired Warp Charging is remaining the same if rumors are true. It would have been considerably better if we got 50-watt wired and 10-watt wireless charging.

That is one hell of a dock. Maybe I'm buying a dock or even upgrade if it doesn't have a punch hole.
