So I needed a spare cable for my OnePlus 7 Pro. I know warp charge works at 30w, the cable I bought is USB 3.1 Gen 2 and certified for 60W of power delivery and I'm using the Dash Charge plug. Why can't I warp charge ?

Because oneplus uses a proprietary cable for warp charge. You need the original cable and charger

In what way ? It's an Anker cable so it's a reputable brand. At maximum capacity Warp Charge is 30w and this cable can provide 60w at a maximum.

There may be some other factors apart from 30W. Afaik the official cable is also capable to transfer the heat from phone to charger. The materials used to get 30W may be different.

I'm no electrical engineer or anything but I fail to see how a different material of conduction would affect power delivery. It's also highly likely they are both copper.

Is a proprietary cable. Inside of the cable it has something that enables this feature. A third party cable won't work (except if it advertised).

I was looking for a longer cable and sent a message to Anker as they are a very good brand. they told me none of their cables can support warp charge because of something to do with the amperage.

I did find this item on Amazon and it's been working great for me but I seen now it's currently not available or out of stock.

So, you did get one before they went out of stock and it works? Or you're waiting for them to be back in stock to try it? I want a longer cable than what OnePlus offers in their store too.
