7 & 7T series are still good to go for at least an year or so. People using lower varients if find 8 series costly should choose to upgrade to 7/7T series instead taking advantage of exchange offers on Amazon or other retailers.
Indian users - wait and watch. 8 series are expected to be launched on heavy discount here, probably on the lines of 7T series.

OP have you taken a good beating by now. You really blew it with your launch and made things worse with your free bundle. I've had 4 OnePlus phones and this is my last one. I no longer trust China as I'm not sure your phones are safe. You're no longer a flagship killer, and you no longer can compete with Apple and Samsung. You can continue to post your great reviews on Twitter and Facebook but the truth is you're $200.00 overpriced. The OnePlus 8 which T-Mobile is going to carry is nothing more than a 7T with 5G but $200.00 more. Good luck OP as you'll need it.

agree. many were hoping OP would still retain it's flagship killer status, but the 8pro with 256Gb and 12 Gb of RAM is nearly as expensive as Samsung and Apple devices. The 8 is just missing too many features to cost $100 -$200 more, depending on config, than the 7t.

are you guys there. you are launching new phones with quad cameras i heard.. but you can't resolve issues with your previous phone versions
it's been an year almost since i purchased this phone i am having nothing except issues with it
i can't beleive you are switching to a newer version without being able to fix issues with your old phone. for once if u can't fix issuws with it. atleast refund me. i never paid that much for a broken phone.

Yes in US and EU they for reasons unknown have priced it on higher side. In China & India, they are at very tempting price tags. Same strategy as iPhones?

Really? Is one plus selling their products on luck basis? so they should change their tagline "buy our phones if you are lucky they will work". Dude, I know Oneplus is now a very big company and it is least bothered to the authorities listening complaints of the direct customer.

But the fact remains same, the one plus 5t had that problem itself just because not everyone has got their way to put forward their complaints in this forum doesn't mean they did not face it, they would have surely went to the service center where they would have got the same answer of replacing the motherboard which makes no sense of spending another 20k for the company's fault.

Why am I saying it so, because I am also one of the victim. I purchased this phone because I really loved it and I even recommended it to 5 of my other friends giving away all my hard earned savings to purchase this phone made really excited and I was flaunting it everywhere appreciating oneplus' job on creating this machine.

But suddenly one day, I find my phone's screen not responding to show anything though it was performing all the task internally it was all working good even the screen was good, what found was the motherboard display is crashed and irreparable and also the data cannot be restored. THAT WAS HEARTBREAKING, I went on to count and blame myself that I must have done something that broke the phone.

It has already been 8 months from now since this happened and I knew its too late to talk about but for a person like who was attached to the phone is still cursing myself and did not buy any new phone yet. I tried about n number of times to see if my phone can start to work till today, kept trying my luck. After having a lot searches over youtube and google I came to a conclusion that I am not alone. And I was helpless.

I know there is no point of putting this into forum as the model has already been discontinued the company has moved on to the 8 series and there would only short reply of regret from you guys but this won't help.

After all this is just not my bad luck that I got a faulty device, this is Company's fault and a loss of my money and feelings.

Here's what I found out T-Mobile will only be selling the OnePlus 8 online and not in the T-Mobile stores. If your a T-Mobile customer you can trade in your phone at a store after ordering online or if you're on a JOD plan T-Mobile won't disclose if there's an upcharge to upgrade. This sounds like a disaster to me. Already some who bought the 8 Pro can't seem to use Verizon.
