Have you set your phones hidden menu for best LTE signal?...the device comes with the TD-SCDMA LTE as default (for testing purposes I'm guessing), which is for carriers in the origin country of the phone (e.g., China). Dial *#*#4636#*#* and change the setting to LTE/GSM auto like this: Screenshot_2014-08-28-22-31-39[1].png Screenshot_2014-08-28-22-31-33[1].png Don't change anything else on that screen and you should see an immediate improvement! Good luck.
these are the speeds I'm getting in N.Miami: Screenshot_2014-08-28-22-40-52[1].png

Edit: sorry just saw the earlier post. It made a huge difference for me, not sure why it doesn't work for you.

I live on the exact opposite side of Florida from you and have a similar issue. Inside I only get one bar if I'm lucky and near a window. I contact T-Mobile and they are sending 4G/LTE signal boosters to me, free of charge. I really shouldn't even have to have them in my opinion, but at least they are providing them at no charge which I see as a definite bonus.
Hopefully, once T-Mobile gets their 700 band up and running down here, we'll be better off. That is so long as the OPO can see that band?

How did you get your signal booster form TMO? Pretty much just give them a call and explain your situation?

Let me know if you see any improvements after installing the signal booster.
