The week is almost over and the OnePlus team has been getting everything ready for the challenge ahead: Week 25. This is the date when we will start upscaling our operations, since the first big batch of invites will start rolling out on the 6th of June. With our past experiences, we are confident everything will run smoothly.
Our main goal this week consisted in ensuring that our e-commerce site will run flawlessly during the upcoming Invites day. From logistics to platform, every team has worked extremely hard to make this a reality.
On Wednesday, we unveiled our plan to auction off a “super pack” of invites for charity. Moved by the fact a few winners sold some of those first hundred Ones at extremely high prices on eBay
, we realized there were fans willing to pay extra money for the One. But why paying extra to a random guy when you can give back to society and help the ones in need while still getting a phone?
We are happy that you decided, through our poll, to support
Unicef Tap Water Project and we’re looking forward to the results of the auction once
the technical issues with eBay are solved.

In other news, we finally published a
preview of some of the accessories that will soon be available in our store. No invites will be required for accessories, so feel free to plan how you will customize your One a few weeks ahead of getting your device.
Last but not least, a few hours ago we surpassed a million messages on the forums. Although it’s a bit late
to join the contest, we would like to give a million thanks to our almost 75k forum members who have made this possible. Winners will be announced next week.
