    Hi everyone,

As our first official working one after CNY, this week witnessed many things happening. Let's have a quick roundup.
    • What's underneath Macro lens
    Thirsty Ant
Astonishing, right? This stunning picture is shot with the OnePlus 6T and has been featured in PetaPixel. Out of curiosity, we reached out to the photographer and OnePlus 6T fan @sasikumar_ksk and shared an interview about his mobile photography story.
If you happen to have the same stunning pictures to share, don't hesitate to show them here.

    1. We know that many of you have been asking for updates in the last few weeks. Rest assured that we've been working hard to answer your questions through actions. This week, we released OxygenOS Open Beta 9 for the OnePlus 7 Pro, OxygenOS 10.0.4 [EU and Global] and 10.3.1 [India] for the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7, OxygenOS 10.0.7 [EU and Global] and 10.3.1 [India] for the OnePlus 7T Pro, including some India-specific functions, and Android 10 for TMO OnePlus 6T, with more updates coming soon. Still, your continuous feedback is always welcome.
    2. With our latest Zen Mode update, 1.5.0, you can log in to Zen Mode via your OnePlus account and it will auto-sync all user data to the Cloud, including the statistics and badges. Check the tutorial here.
    3. The Google Assistant-powered “Ambient Mode” is now rolling out to OnePlus devices, with all devices being supported all the way down to the OnePlus 3.
    • Last but not least
    1. Pete proudly announced that OnePlus just crossed two milestones in India market:
      • the NO.1 in the Indian premium smartphone segment with 33% of the market share and
      • the first-ever premium smartphone brand surpassing 2 million shipments in a year in India. 2019 has been a remarkable year for us at OnePlus and you're part of that success!
    2. To elevate RCC members' experience from experiencing benefits to designing benefits with us, a special edition of Open Ears Forum focused on RCC is being held in Goa, India this Saturday. Over 30 community members attended it and voiced their opinions. Look forward to the agreed commitments in the next phase of RCC.

That's pretty much for this week and thanks all for your concerns. HQ Community team are all well except the fact that we cannot approach offices yet. Hope we can fight through this soon so that there will be only good news remaining for the year 2020.

There isn't any specific Indian build for 7-series, are you sure the thread title is correct?

ro.build.version.ota is on recent builds either
    OnePlus7Oxygen_14.P.25_GLO_025_2002022317 (7 GM57AA running 10.3.1)
    OnePlus7Oxygen_14.E.23_GLO_023_1912061919 (7 GM57BA running 10.0.3)
    OnePlus7ProOxygen_21.P.25_GLO_025_2002022314 (7 Pro GM21AA running 10.3.1)
    OnePlus7ProOxygen_21.E.23_GLO_023_1912061919 (7 Pro GM21BA running 10.0.3)
while India specific features are present in india.img present in /data partition of AA builds and enabled based on different factors such as region being set in device settings, Indian SIM being inserted etc.

Why isn't there any thread by @Manu J. in T-Mobile forum in Regions --> USA?
Not only for this device but also for all devices sold by carrier such as 7 Pro and 7T T-Mo, as well as 7Pro 5G Sprint and EE/Elisa.
I find lame to rely on third party content while update threads could be made without a lot of efforts (unless it's willingly done to avoid complains about OOS being incomplete on them with several features lacking compared to unlocked devices or outdated security patches and slow updates in general: December 2019 patch on February 2020 while previous update for 6T T-Mo was based on November 2019 patch, seriously?)

That's very nice but as said by an other user in Pete's thread, maybe OnePlus should also remember Europe exists? Don't you think that users from countries other than India might be a little bit annoyed at all attention India has? Should I remind the long requested Always on Display feature, which was present on initial OnePlus 6 build (OxygenOS 5.1.0) and silently removed with day one update for this device (OxygenOS 5.1.5) because of "concerns with battery life and screen burn-in"?

Well, maybe less features should be India specific?
OnePlus Roaming for instance is still reserved to India while as per World Tourism Organization 2017 report Europeans represent 48% of tourists in the world and by extension might be interested by this feature as they travel a lot (illustration extracted from page 14)?[IMG]

    Sounds interesting...!

Before I would use it though I'd like to know the tariff...
Europe wide, 48% of the pie chart , not needed anyways for Europeans...

    Hey Trista,

Thx for another weekly, in corona times.

I wish I was in India, and I know I'm not the only one....:D:D:D

    Lets Goa,

    and as always, hanwa :)

The weekly winner of the second bridges contest week will be announced very soon, our team has done the internal voting. It's a very close race and it will be a tough thing to decide for the OnePlus staff, who wins the second week.

    Cheers, Script
