Probably by 2015 a better phone (by 1+ or someone else) would have come out.

Natantantan...you certainly have the "New York Edge". Not that there's anything wrong with that...my wife is a Brooklyn girl!

I do agree with the 1+ uncertainty factor as a company/business. But if this campaign, and the amount of people in these forums have shown us something is:
    - They are on the right track.
    - There is a huge market for a company decent enough to be willing to profit a bit less for a great device in a decent price. I'd still be willing to buy the 1+1 for $450. It'd still be an excelent deal of price vs. quality. So.... There is a prospect future for this company, lets hope they can make good use of the hype.

I don't think that the IPS display and that is 5.5 inches is a negative, delay from app to homescreen , who told you that , infact I think the only thing that can be taken as a down side is the average camera expirience and the LTE , but even those doesn't make much difference :D

What do you mean with 'no hd resolution'? It has a Full HD display.
Also no FM Radio and a pretty big body for a 5,5" screen phone.

    - Camera is average to sub-par
    Probably firmware.
    - No removable battery
    - No microSD card slot
Agree with both of these. Those would've been nice.
    - No LTE band 20
Not a loss for me, but that's a problem for many, yep!
    - Delay when going from app to homescreen
Just like most other phones. Hell, even the iPhone has a bit of that.
    - Capitative buttons not well lit
    That's a potential problem, yeah.
    - 5.5 inch screen
    - IPS display instead of AMOLED
Nah. That's perfect for me. AMOLED makes web browsing really hard on the battery, I find.

Oh okay. What a coincidence that you used that link, because I actually looked at that article a couple of days ago. I'm very happy it doesn't have a QHD/2K/1440p (however you'd like to call it) display.

    - The improvement from FHD to QHD is minimal since our eyes (at a reasonable distance and not with your nose pushed to the screen) can't tell the difference.
    - It drains battery 40%-60% more
    - The performance is worse since the GPU has to work harder for the same animation
    - The price increases

Basically worse battery life, worse performance, higher price and minimal visible improvement to the human eye.

With all those things added up, it still is a personal decisions whether you like it or not, but I and most others (check the comments on the article you just used in your post) think it's not worth it.

well a 1440p display is literally 30% more viewing pleasure than a 1080p screen..whether u hold ur face to the screen or look at it casually..same thing happened when the first 1080p screen came out ppl started saying the same thing and now 1080p is the standard..the 1440p display will offer more details than watching the same video in the current 1080p phones..of course it drains the battery..but so is playing games and watching videos..good thing the g3 offers removable battery..performance? i wouldnt worry about it..as the devs on xda know how to make excellent kernels for our phones..

    1. Let me ask a question. How do you know that there is delay when you go from app to homescreen if you don't have a OPO.
    2. The battery is removable, you're wrong.
    3. I think you don't need a microSD card slot, if you buy the 64GB version. And of course you can copy your stuff from the card via a PC.
    4. Capatitive buttons.. Again.. Did you try it?
    5. 5.5 inch screen: maybe for you, but not for me.

There is no removable battery... where did you get the info to the contrary?

The 5.5 screen is too big for most people, I think. I've tried the Samsung Note, feels like I'm getting a sunburn when I put that thing up to my ear... I can see the bones in my hand when I try to block out all that light
