No, it was promised, that COS (not CM) is coming to the OPO in Q1, for OP2 only OOS was promised (in Q1 also).

    Back to topic:
So far I haven't had any lags or freezes anymore with 2.2.1, running with Nova with Nova Prime as Launcher is super fast, my battery became better with 2.2.1 as compared to 2.2.0. I experienced lots of lags before and think, that if the lags were there, they stayed until restart. And were eating the battery, because CPU is in use, swapping takes battery, while it lags and swaps, the screen isn't regulated and stays on longer. So without lags the better battery is also what I expected.

Bluetooth bugs are fixed, but Android Auto is still very unstable, need Android 6!

Unfortunately, I have been experiencing same lagging on OOS221, see my post here:
I usually see the lagging in notification drawer / quick settings and settings areas right after unlocking the phone. In Nova Prime, I do not experience it.

Afaiu, op2 does not have swapping enabled, check the output of:
    cat /proc/swaps

Maybe the lagging has sth to do with LMK?

It was visible in 2.2.0 says @Naman Bhalla, so with 2.2.1 this should be past.

I see reboot sometimes when I launch Fifa16. Only happened to me after update. Don't know whose issue but this annoys me a lot.

I'll take a decreased battery life for increased performance. I hate lag, hate hate hate. I already have a charger next to my couch, bed, and office desk, lol.

It's just my personal experience so far. Battery life has been decreased noticeably. I'm getting only 3 hours SOT while I used to get 4&1/2 hours SOT on OOS 2.2.1. I'll definitely post some pictures soon. Have a nice day:).

We can't say anything about Android M update but since OOS 2.2.1 has been rolled out to the oneplus 2, this update will be provided to oneplus X users soon enough.

Question for the OP, can you please explain specifically what you meant when you said the home button doesn't miss taps anymore?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm still on v2.2.0 and if I use the fingerprint to unlock the phone, like say give it a quick tap and the screen turns on, the first touch on the home button does not work for me. So say I have double tap to turn on camera, I will have to tap three times on the home button since it doesn't work on the first tap.
And I have long press to turn off screen so I will have to press the home screen once before attempting to do that.
I hope you got what I mean.

That was the case for me. But after update the home button works perfectly fine now. I hope yours also works after installing the update.

Battery life has been worst part of 2.2.1. I dont understand why battery managment has been ignore in all updates.

I agree with the battery issues.
The standby time is still the same, but the moment I start using the phone, it heats up quickly and decreases really fast.
I unplugged it at 9 this morning, and it's now 15:50 and the battery is already at 29%, which is horrible as it used to last for at least 12 hours.. I don't know what to do. I'm unrooted and running stock..

I probably have the scariest bug. My phone has stopped charging on its own at 98% and I have to re plug it, meaning a new battery cycle. :(
This has been happening only after the update.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Looking forward to it! I can't compare with previous versions because I got my OP2 fairly recently, but I'd like to think that the updates are moving it forwards.
