    I appreciate you picking up the letters to the community, as many people here mentioned in reply to your first letter it's a great idea to reconnect to the community, one of the things early members would really appreciate.

    The replies to that first letter must have raised your eyebrows, maybe even wiggled your stache a bit, lots of emotions here from people that were really frustrated, because they felt ignored, or at least not heard in their pleas to solve certain long standing problems.

    I can also imagine why you did not reply, this was a tsunami, you don't handle tsunami's, you get the hell out and wait until the water withdraws. And after that you analyse the damage, start fixing stuff and think of how to make sure this doesn't happen again.

    Right?

    Or are you just sitting there, irritated by all these "toxic" replies? Thinking how you try your best and things are not appreciated?

    Assumption is the mother of all ****-ups, so do feel free to react on this, and don't give us, me, who perceive themselves as early members, the silent treatment again.

    You have lost already so many of the people that had been here for years, sometimes over three years. Most can't be bothered to come back, certainly not for some copy paste thread on a subject @Pete threw in August last year

    Even the most loyal and respected mods are raising their gentle voices these days, quite a few have left, some resigned from duty and regained their freedom of speech, using it to the fullest.

    You are quickly loosing the remains of what largely defined what made this company different, I don't know what you're after in life, I know you have a philosophical side, so I can't imagine it's just about the money, because you can only have one lunch, right?

    The clock, it's ticking...

    Do better.

    Please.

    It's coming to something when most of the mods are steering away from the role of police to actually agreeing with a lot of the complaints these days.
    It's a shame OnePlus is not listening any more and is just spewing the spin they said they wouldn't do.

    My thoughts exactly, obviously not all the mods have chimed in yet, but the overall consensus of opinion seems pretty consistent.

    Until of course one pops in, thanks @Carl for his wonderful post and declares his undying love for all things OnePlus, apart from the fact that he can't get a 128Gb Rose Gold OP3T. Mentioning no names though...

    And its funny, although I've actually been pretty happy with the OnePlus products I've bought, this thread, along with a few others, seriously make me doubt that I'll ever give the company another penny.

    Because #WhyShouldISettle for this kind of crap?

    Now that you mention the buttons on 3 and 3T: the power button placement was not very smart.
    It's nearly impossible to quickly adjust the alert slider with one hand without touching the power button…
