    After the update, I did today I can no longer find where to set up the double tap and long click of the three bottom buttons. I really really need that feature.

    Those options are gone, long pressing the square will open split screen, the round button opens Google assistant and the triangle button opens the browser history, but you can't customize them anymore. You can give feedback about that here if you want
