I'm now looking very seriously at a pair of SR80e's, and I think the first album I want to try with them is the Who's Live at Leeds. That record sounds like I'm right there on stage already, even with a very middle-of-the-road set of earphones. I think hearing it with Grados is going to frighten the bejeezus out of me. I'll close my eyes and think Townshend is standing right next to me, ready to bury his axe in my head.

Fantastic for the price ($29). Saying this I think the these are better sound quality than both my in ear Bose models. Adding the fact the the bose are well over $100 more than the Xiamoi's....

Cant go wrong, just do your research before buying, as there have been some folk getting 'fake' ones... I got mine from Ebay, no issue

Used to be ATH ANC23 as casual listening (love the noise cancelling) till it literally fell apart on me at work. Looking to buy a pair of Shure SE215, I'm sure I'll love it.

I currently have Sony headphones although I'm looking for headphones that are good for listening to alternative, rock, scream and metal. Any ideas?

The new "e" series I heard a lot of good things about them. Just word of caution, if you are used to wearing comfy headphones the grades will hurt your ears (Not the eardrum but your actual ears LOL) they sound great but they seriously lack comfort.

I used the Xiaomi pistons 2 for a few weeks and got so disappointed by the sound quality. And the remote is already broken.

So i got the new JBL E1+ and i can say it's the best in ear headphones i've try. The remote is built in cheap plastic tho... I cant say if it will be good in the long run.

At home i use the Bose truesound around the ear headphone and i Just love'em.

Anything I can get my hands on...Right now I got some quite nice Logitech headphones. And for school or walking around, I use any in ear headphones I can find.

Duly noted. I've read much in years past about the lack of comfort in Grado earpieces. I think there are ways to improvise a solution. Invest in more foam!

Love my AKG Y45BT (the black version) I wanted a good bluetooth headset under 150 euros (186 dollar) and these do their job very well. Long battery life and with the OPO the bluetooth almost doesnt drain. Quick charge aswell. The listening radius is about 8-10 meters. I can walk anywhere in my house without taking my phone with me.
Only cons so far is that it's half open so when its stormy outside you can hear it a bit. Also it fits a bit tight around your neck when you're not listening but its not bothering me.
