i like my sony MDR XB400. Its a mid-range headphone and the extra bass(XB series = extra bass) works awesome with the bass boost feature in Audio FX.

Haven't tried Sol republic myself sorry. If you have a headphone store that lets you demo different kinds of headphone you really have to listen to a Grado headphone <- very unique in their sound quality: punchy bass, great highs and mids.
I can stand using a Grado for a couple of hours before I have to take them off so maybe it may still work for you :)?

The "comfy" pads that come with SR60 is a little better than the cups that come with SR80 and higher but the comfy pads degrade the sound a little bit so I wouldn't going that route

Klipsch Image One on ear Bluetooth. Can be uses wireless or wired (included audio cable). Sound amazing, great sound reproduction for a Bluetooth headset. Calls are clear as a bell as well.

As long as the SR80s seriously rock, I'll see what I can do to make them more comfortable.

I once had a pair of Sony on-the-ear headphones that sat awkwardly on top of my head. The band only hit the very top of my head, and that was very uncomfortable after just a few minutes. So I improvised a solution: I took old dryer softener sheets (they were thin blue sheets of foam, I forget who made them), folded them to get about an inch of padding, and taped up a pair to the headphones with electrical tape. That was a man card moment for sure. It was pretty ghetto, but it worked great and they were comfortable.

They are both good headphones can't really go wrong with them. It seems like more people here own and are happy with their M50X

I use Etymotic HF-3 earbuds with Comply foam tips. Best for comfort and clarity. Fantastic isolation.
