First, hello. I am the owner of a OP3. I want to say that it doesn't matter which one you buy as long as you don't care that much for updates. The camera on OP5 is better, I admit, but it's nothing out of the roof. The 3 has a decent camera for everyday pictures. The dual camera is a gimmik for me. Zoom? Meh. Blurry photos? I preffer the less prononced, natural bokeh over the fake one. The shutter speed is better on the 5 because of no stabilization (which is kinda bad with photos on the 3). Ok, I'm going too deep with the camera. Is 3 and 3T slower than the 5? Yes. How much? Too less to be noticeable. Don't take speed into consideration. My Snapdragon 820 is almost 1 year old and I had let's say 2 or 3 slow-downs. The whole year. So yea...

I own a OP3 and just purchased a OP5. The 5 accommodates a ton more LTE bands so you'll have better coverage as your cell providers network expands. Buy the 5.

See, if you have no official sales & warranty service for OP in your country, then you would have problems in case of a defect etc whether you buy the OP3T or the OP5.
Why not consider a phone which does have official service centres in your city?
E.g, if LG is there then you can consider the LG G6.
And so on & so forth.

Don't buy OP5, before you have tested it (if possible) and how "jelly effect" affect to you.

My experience with testing OP5 was short and horrible (must be #1 on top5), caused headache and nauseous feeling, finally throw up.

Never had and still no problems like this with OP3T.

just bought OnePlus 5 myself despite the posts of the jello effect. if it weren't for the post i wouldn't have noticed the minor jello I got on mine. it doesn't bother me. and OnePlus have 15 days no hassle return if you're not happy with it.

OP5 is better and 3T is good option if only there is significant price difference. These phones are great options for their price ranges and you only have to decide how much you are ready to pay ;-P

obviously OnePlus 5. re 3t is a nice cellphone too but the one plus 5 is much better. the problems that you mentioned about jelly screen it's practically doesn't exist anymore with last upgrade. Don t trust All bad things that you heard about this brilliant phone, the majority of people who said that are haters that can't believe that a cheaper cellphone could be the best on the market right now.

I have both and I prefer the OP5 due to aesthetic reasons but aside from that essentially the same phone.

I bought the OnePlus 5 because of the warranty and 15 day-returns.

If you don't ming about the updates (because the 3T will dye with Android O) and the warranty isn't something important to you, I would buy the 3T if you're saving U$50 or more. Because the screen is the same the camera has OIS (so it should be better at night) and at daytime its not that much of an improvement, and the 3T still has a very good battery and really top hardware

In case you decide that you want the OnePlus 5, here's my referral link https://oneplus.net/invite#EIEJ3N67T965LXY

if you have the budget for the most recent version, why not? I don't see the confusion. the is like the 3t but better, if you have the chance to get it, why bother with the 3t at all?

With the link you get U$20 off on accessories (that's a free case which I got and it's great, I recommend the red one). Remember that the discount will appear at the checkout (when you have to insert the credit card)

3T is sold by OnePlus through Amazon here in India and its official. One can also purchase extended warranty through OnePlus Servify App.

Hence why I said OnePlus direct. The thread starter is not from India so Amazon.in is not an option for him

I feel OnePlus 5 is better, I am using it..the hate is because it didn't stand up to desirable output as compared to flagships in some section but at any day it is better than 3T in every section..
