Its not there because op didn't want to pay the licence fee.

The smaller bezels and front facing speakers kinda contradict each other.

I really don't know why the NFC was left out.
Although they claim it's not used by the users now...thy still admit it will be of use in 12/18 months.
So is this a way of saying they are selling a new phone for just 12 to 18 months?!

Anyway even if it's not used...is a such a basic feature that even low specs phones are having it.

So OnePlus, for me....I think it was a bad move.

I have learn't that the chip is there - its already included in the S810. Now its on 1+ to find a way to enable it.

could actually be that they didn't want to pay the fees.

Really the only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of NFC. Of course I dont really like the snapdragon 810, but I can over look that. However the lack of NFC just makes all their marketing abt "future proof" and "2016 flagship killer" seem like a blatant lie, and honestly, I thought oneplus was a better company than that

Don't get me wrong, I'm still strongly considering an op2 for my next device, its just that oneplus has lost some of that shine it had when I first started following it

What I really wanted was FM radio and lesser bezels. And I'd be more than happy if OPT had all the other things you mention. I'd be willing to pay even €100 more for an uncompromising device.

Agreed, they call it 2016 flagship killer while they are having hard time fighting flagships launched 12 hours after (Moto X Style)

Wasn't listed but I am a fan of removable batteries, second would be to have front facing speakers.

It also lacks sex appeal. The One was well designed and good looking. Compared to the One, I find the Two an incoherent cacophony of shapes. Maybe design followed function, or they just thought their fan base isn't interested in looks. But then again, it's a matter of taste.
