What's the difference between 4K DCI and 4K UHD? Jan 22, 2015

    Can someone tell me the difference? When should I be using dci or uhd. Would it look different on the screen if I were to be watching from an ipad, tv or maybe a phone? I would love an explanation as I am waiting to buy a OnePlus One. I really love taking videos and pictures and I am just obsessed with the camera. Thanks!

    UHD is basically 16:9, while DCI is 17:9

    One is 3840x2160 and the other is 4096x2160

    OPO records DCI at 24fps and UHD at 30fps.

    DCI is good for cropping. It's just an option. 16:9 is an aspect ratio
