What's the need of this can't understand we can't run this app nd im able to uninstall it#play music Nov 6, 2020 via OnePlus 7T

    It seems that currently you are only able to disable the app. A future update may change this, considering the app has been discontinued. I will report this internally to raise the software team's awareness.

    I knw that but its already been discontinued the app doesn't work . U can't play music on it . So what's the need this app !! It's taking up phone space which is not accepted by me .

    In OnePlus 8 series this app is replaced by YouTube music . So is there any update that resolve this OnePlus must provide that.

    I'm sure it will get replaced by YouTube music in a future update.

    I understand your frustration though, why it can't simply be uninstalled is bizarre....the app can be uninstalled on Samsung devices without any trouble.

    Play music app replaced by you tube music in everyone mobiles. Do Not get tensed, you can clear its cache and force stop it. By this it will not shown on your device but it will also not deleted.

    I have been trying too. And, as you mentioned, we can't uninstall it from our phone.
    I guess it comes pre-instaled because of business agreement between OnePlus and partners.
