What's the real reason you bought an oneplus one Aug 11, 2014

I guess the question becomes: what is the real reason for you to buy this phone KNOWING all sorts of problems and KNOWING you're probably getting no customer support post-sales?


Or going to buy it?

Just curious because I was madly interested in buying one, until I found this bbs and realized how many problems this phone is having ( screen, signal, battery, OS, customer support and much more).

I gave up the Idea of buying one since I'm Chinese and I know these problems will take very long to revolve (if they can ever be resolved). So I'm just very curious to see what is the reason everyone is willing to try this phone in the first place. For me: it was cheap.


Update 1, it's pretty clear that most folks are buying it because it offers high spec at a very cheap price. Share you thoughts.

So here comes the more important question: does people buy this phone due to its cheap price REGARDLESS of the risk? This question is more for ppl who are still waiting in line, but I guess for those who already bought it, are you guys regretting your purchase decision?

Update 2: seems clear that a cheaper price is gonna outweighs all the risks and hassles of buying the this phone
