    No phone is perfect and there will be problems. It is a new company and it is the risk of being a early adopter. Most people from what I read on here and in reviews like their phone and it was apart of the reason why I bought it on top of needing a new phone. I could easily claim the problems with the XBOX 360 with its red ring of death is insane and that is a big company. There will be problems, but it isn't the majority or a large minority. Every company (well one that wants to stay in business) wants a good product and wants to make money. They NEED to make a good phone.

    I actually bought this phone because really fealt like buying a phone from a company that was doing something different. Even tho OP has its problems, at least its refreshing.

    glad that you mention xbox 360 as an example, first thing I wanna say is the xbox 360 is not a very good comparison with oneplus one, mainly because xbox 360 was one of its kind at the time of launch, it was a "truly" next generation gaming console (if you can call that).

    Oneplus one on the other hand, has nothing "new", it's a normal smartphone, just like smartphones other phone makers make, with the same internals and features inside.
    I think launching a phone with these many problems is unacceptable given the reason above.

    The price., but since using it since July 11 the only thing that has been somewhat of a letdown has been the camera. I'm hopeful that the new OTA really addresses PQ and colors which it sounds like it does.

    Everything else has been much better than I expected, so much so that it is my only phone now and after using it I would have paid more.

    Sold my Note 3, Nexus 5 and S3 and gave my 4s to one of my daughter's.

    When I am searching phone outside, i was looking all the flagship phone or Nexus 5. But when I saw this i really impressed with design and the spec and price.

    Reasons To go for this

    CM11
    Price
    Design
    Specs
    2 year support from CM, that means updates will come quickly

    What else you need from a phone?

    hmm, peace of mind, quality that last? customer support that actually solve your problems when you have one?

    To me the above are worth more than sheer spec and price, what's good for a phone that is so cheap and so fast but barely works?

    64GB storage, 3GB memory. Cheap. Android (close to it with CM).
    So much hype about it if I didn't like it can sell for little loss / some profit.

    At that point "why not" kicked. I've bought 3, for my son, neighbor, me, helped 2 others more recently including the AT&T store manager.

    Every success to OnePlus and nail to them to the wall for every mistake, that which doesn't kill them makes them stronger.
