Going through the process of buying a 7T and I run into the Protection Plan area. There are 5 different protection plans there. All of them have "... complimentary pickup & drop of the smartphone during claim incident, exclusive 24x7 support on OnePlus Care App." In the order they're listed on the page, here are the differences:

    - Screen Protection Plan ($65): Screen damage coverage (drops, crash and breakage) from day one...
    - Accidental Damage Protection Plan service ($69): Accidental damage coverage (drops, crash, breakage and liquid damage) from day one...
    - Extended Warranty ($36): Extension on the manufacturer warranty by additional 12 months...
    - Back Cover Damage Protection Plan ($19): Back Cover damage coverage (drops, crash and breakage) from day one...
    - Battery Protection Plan service ($13): Battery free exchange service by 12 months after manufacturer warranty gets expired...

What's the relationship between all these things? Are the ones below included in the ones above? They don't look it. Are they entirely separate and if you want "full" coverage you have to buy all of them?

And if anyone from OnePlus sees this, that really needs to be explained on the page.

As far as I know oneplus care app, pick up and drop plans are for India region. Since you have quoted the price in Dollars, I have to ask about your location.

I'm in the U.S.. I double-checked, and the OnePlus Store page shows me as being in the U.S. and those 5 protection plans are the options that pop up while going through the process of buying the 7T.

I just finished "chatting" with "David Park" about those Protection Plans. According to him the "Accidental Damage Protection Plan service ($69)" covers ALL damage, whereas the "Screen Protection Plan ($65)" and "Back Cover Damage Protection Plan ($19)" cover JUST the screen and back cover, respectively. The other two ("Extended Warranty ($36)" and "Battery Protection Plan service ($13)") are fairly obvious in that they extend either the full warranty or just the battery protection another 12 months. He also said those Protection Plans can be added up to 15 days after purchase. So, they don't necessarily have to be done in the purchase process.

Again, OnePlus needs to add that kind of information to the Protection Plan page of the purchase process.
