It doesn't have commas for thousand seperators and don't even have a delete or backspace button. moreover, there's no options...

The integrated calculator in google is a fine option, I've resorted to that in the past. Another fine option - reading some of the other previous 70 calculator threads and applying the simple fix you will find in a few seconds.

I understand, but its about doing things properly. Its not even about perfection. Its just standards. If its called a calculator, it should meet standards of even the most basic things. Workarounds, yes we all know how to do that.

You have a way to fix this (possibly even permanantly?) - a quick, clean and simple fix. You can choose to apply it and move on with your life, or you can choose not to and mope around here for a while longer wishing that software release quality within OP was of a quality level matching your own refined standards.

I would personally go with option (a), but I'm not going to try to tell you what to do - you be you.

Sometimes you have to make your own entertainment, especially when the forum is drowned in thousands of 'new' threads which turn out not to be that new after all.

This dude has no excuse, he's clearly capable of some independent, mostly rational though processes but is choosing not to exercise them. Game on.

Its not choosing to exercise them or not. It clearly is a problem. I don't come up with the standards, the market does. Thousand seperators and delete, backspace, or cancel is the standards made by the market. You go ahead buy a computer and you would expect the default calculator would work like market standards. Yes, you can go download something else. But this clearly isn't my point. Its a quality and brand image. Go purchase a beer, you would like it to taste like beer. An app called calculator, then the basics should work like a calculator. I am not bragging about, but I think this is called the general support. If you go to any other support forum after you purchase a product and the answer is always "go buy something else and it would fix it" then what is the whole purpose then of having support forum.

You clearly haven't bothered reading any of the other threads. I'm not talking about downloading another app, I'm talking about a simple fix to the existing one so that it behaves exactly like you want it to.

But yeah, keep riding that high horse about brands and quality and support. Meanwhile, I'll just keep using my working calculator app.

Yes, that came back out after force stop, disable, reboot and enable. But still no thousand separator.
