What's your current phone and why do you want to upgrade to OnePlus One?

    currently on Note2.

i'm still undecided on whether to upgrade to OnePlus.

my reasons for wanting to upgrade:
    * kinda sick of some bloatware stuff that Samsung added -- namely KNOX.
    * buggy and not seamless updates. they updated a software and i ended up with two copies of it. no way to uninstall since its part of the ROM. that's plain silly.

    reasons for still liking Note2:
    * pen function, especially where i could crop things from practically anywhere and share it out. this is so darn useful
    * little nice things like pop-up browsers (no longer in latest firmware) and pop-up video. on big screens, this is useful. i can let the browser load the page while i continue to play game and watch video... :)
    * removable battery -- not that i remove battery that often, but just sth i dunno why i kinda like... :)

    Nexus 4 and galaxy s4

To be honest I bought the nexus 4 after the S4 and gave the S4 to my wife...the nexus 4 runs so much smoother!...S4 was a laggy bloated mess....As to the reason for upgrading from the nexus 4 to the one plus one:
    - keeps good screen to bezel ratio with a bigger and better screen ( nexus 4 has poor viewing angles)
    - better camera
    - better battery
    - better chipset for performance
    - built with CM from the ground up
    - keeps minimalistic logo free front that I love on the nexus 4
    - exceptional build quality and design (I hope)
    - always listening mode with low power components
    - stereo speakers with good output
    - I want to support a startup that is transparent and puts consumer satisfaction above profit margins
    - Una is so cute I feel that I must buy a one plus one

    I have a Galaxy S4 and I'm looking for :

A more refined OS (Touchwiz no more)
    Bigger screen
    Better battery life
    Better camera
    A more pretty phone
    Dual speaker
    'cause it's cheap

I'm rocking an O.G. galaxy nexus. After living with it for a couple of years, I know I want something with better battery life, a GPS that isn't screwie, LTE, and a significantly better camera.
With MSRP prices the way they are, I really would only consider something like a Nexus 5, which I guess is why I'm here. I'm really looking forward to what OPO can deliver.

    Nexus 5 32GB

    - Battery life
    - Low storage for my usage (USB OTG drain the weak battery like crazy)! 64GB option is goodish buy I'd prefer microsd.

    LG Optimus L9 P760

-More storage (it only has 2GB free!)
    -Better battery life
-More resolution screen (it has a qHD screen )
-Better processor (Dual core 1 GHz lags everytime)
-Better camera (the 5MP camera is too bad)

Hi, try to search for the Firmware verion you like, f.e. on sammobile.com or use uncle Google, then flash the file via odin. It will work. ;)

Here is how to do that.

I´m still using a Samsung S3 with a Omni Rom.

What i hope to get :

    - A NICE looking phone
    - A better feel of the phone (the S3 feels very plastic)
    - A individual phone, everyone is using a Samsung or HTC ...

but I believe it'll still trigger the knox counter.

It is possible. Iam not very familar what exactly the knox counter does, but if it just counts how many times you flashed another ROM, then I see no problem with it. Or at least I don't usualy care about those things, as I root every device and upload CWM almost immediately.

with knox, there's now two visible counters. one tracks how ROM.

for knox, what I understand, one triggered, no way to reset (yet) and warranty immediately void.

I am using SGS4 now, as I needed fast replacement for the Meizu MX3 which I had before. And because there was a Chinese new year in that time, I could not order anything from China. So that's the reason why I use SGS4 instead of Gionee Elife E7 right now.

I'm still rocking my Galaxy Nexus. I love the phone but it's time to move on.

Basically any new phone I get is going to be an upgrade lol. But I'm very picky.

    - stock android or anything close to stock with added features
    - a good camera
    - 32GB is the least I'll go
    - a big screen

I'm looking to get the OnePlus but I'm still leaving my options open with what moto does this Summer. So which phone will be my next? We shall see. Bring it!

It's not a bad phone per se but I want a bigger screen, better battery life and to get rid of apple's bs.

    Vzw SGS3, rooted, 4.3 TW knox-less ROM.
My contract ran out more than a year ago - had the S3 since launch day one. I've been waiting patiently for someone to introduce another killer phone that allowed customization. But, all the other phones out there are pretty much incremental advancements and locked. Looking forward to 4/23!
Any word yet on carriers? I have no issue purchasing the 1+1 outright and then signing up for a non-contract V/T/D plan.
