All of those reviewers received phones with camera software that hasn't been released to the public yet. That's why none of them had issues. When it comes to photo quality I haven't really noticed anything horrible, but that's another story when it comes to video. Video is just plain BAD. At least at 60fps it is.

    Lol :tearsofjoy:
You have guys who have had the device for over a week comment on the camera capabilities on film and then there is you who had it in hand for a few mins and a few words from unknown people. And you are telling me to grow up

These are guys who have compared hundreds of mobile phones, so who is going listen to you because you had a few minutes with the phone.
Did you use the camera in all lighting scenarios?
What no! But you offer an opinion on what it can do.:tearsofjoy:
    Based on what?
5 mins with phone in hand,?
    Fanboyism?
You say the camera is good on every OP( USE MANUAL MODE ) but what does history tell us,? Even the main cheerleaders say the camera has always been a weakness of OP's.

So I will listen to the guys in the video that had the device in hand for longer than a few minutes.
I will listen to the People who have owned the device for a few days.
I will believe what I saw in Josh Vergara's Video.
I will believe the fact that the Nitpicker was so unhappy with the camera performance. He said he would wait for a couple of updates before he reviewed the camera.

You keep offering your usual opinion and asking for issues to be resolved in manual mode.:p

    Grow up, fake news.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Camera quality is subjective like you said. That is why its not about one size fits all. Even Google Pixel camera processing does not appeal to all people. Different people have different taste. Please take look on Huawei and their 3 color profiles, or Xiaomi MI 9 with camera settings for sharpness, saturation and contrast. Or ASUS phones with even more settings including noise reduction, backlight compensation strength, etc... I don't say that OnePlus should do it same way. But give people options with some intuitive interface or even camera wizard to tune it to their liking once camera app is first opened. Similar to display callibration wizard when one is setting up OP7 PRO off first time. :) PS: It would be nice if you can give users at least ability to take RAW out of all 3 rear cameras and use all 3 rear cameras in PRO mode. That way more advanced users won't need to rely on build in JPEG processing. But wiser would be to make possibly to chose photo style accessible to common audience, not just advanced users that know how to handle RAW. I cross my fingers. OP 7 PRO is otherwise excellent and unique device.

My 3T's camera is garbage, although I use it like once a month.

I have no idea, if it is possible to be any worse.

Why are you even bothering to comment when you have clearly made up your mind on the phone before even using it? You seem very angry considering you don't have a OP7 Pro! Dude, calm down!

I get a LOT of noise while recording video with ample indoor lighting, and if I zoom in,it's horrible.Funny thing is,if I switch to the selfie cam, there is no noise at all.I assume an update will fix this,at least I hope so.Beyond that, camera is great.

Camera quality is actually NOT subjective at all.
A noisy image is a noisy image
A heavily HDR processed image is a bad job
A missed white balance is ... well, bad
    Messing you image compression... bad
    Unrealistic color profiles... bad
The old oil painting effect.. bad

    These are not subjective issues.

That said, the Oneplus camera as clearly improved since the update - almost on par with Gcam on non-HDR photos. HDR still has too much processing, and normal images have too much compression (I think here Oneplus should give an option to control)

I love OnePlus devices this is my second one I had the 6t before purchasing the 7 pro, in the picture quality is not even comparable to that of a Samsung or Apple device. the pictures that come out of an Apple or Samsung phone have much more detail and sharpness. the pictures that 60 and 7 pro produce are slightly borscht and not full of detail

I'm not sure how the 7pro wound up with the highest dxomark ever for a OnePlus device I'm disappointed with the camera quality. Lacks details and appears soft in most situations. Also colors appear on the dull side compared to more vibrant colours seen on competition devices.
