Almost 3 out 5 times i try to send a selfie via the whatsapp camera as soon as i snap it, i get this pop up gray message. And even though i restart my device the problem persists, only working at random times.

I've searched in the forum here, but no one seems to be having this issue. Or am i wrong?

Another detail to note, the app is up to date as well as everything else.

No problem here. Does the app have the permission to use the camera? See in Settings->Apps->WhatsApp->Permissions?

Then I can't help you any further. I can only suggest to reinstall WhatsApp (and delete all the files one the storage afterwards manually) or a clean clear and wipe. Maybe some others have a solution.

I have found the answer to this problem.
    first step
    unstall watsapp app

    second
go to official site of watsapp messenger at the lower part of the site u can see an option android apk

    third
    download the app
    install
and click the permission while installing the apk, backup ur data

now re-open ur apps and try the camera
    it works for me
