After updating my phone to the lastest software, whatsapp isn't performing. Media files can't be uploaded or downloaded, profile picture can't be changed. Need a solution asap on this as it's hindering work as well. Most importantly in the chats most of the images are blurred and can't be opened as well.. kindly provide a solution at the earliest

Hi, you could just look around. There are hundreds of posts and threads about this, because Google decided to standardize media storage in Android 11. Maybe WhatsApp is just slow to catch-up:

Request you to provide a solution to this asap. We update the software to maximize performance not to face further difficulties. Whatsapp is an important app, out of nowhere this problem pops up and we aren't given a solution too. It's highly frustrating.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app? It might correct things.

The below solution from other user helped me to fix this issue.

Had the same problem and found a solution: Open your file manager -> Storage ->, rename the root Whatsapp folder to any other name (example Whatsapp1) and restart your phone. Good luck 😉
